WHAT IS EXTENDED DAY CARE (EDC)?

Extended Day Care (EDC) is the after-school program for Los Altos Christian Schools (LACS) and is designed for families to have a safe place for their students to attend after school. At EDC, we strive to continue to connect with students and care for their overall well-being. By creating time for homework, creativity, and games, we hope to impact our students with the love of Christ. We want to make that time between home and school a memorable one by being intentional to participate with our students and their interests.
EDC Schedule – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
3:15pm Student Check-In
3:15-4:00pm Supervised Recreation Time
4:00-5:30pm Homework / Activity
5:30-6:00pm Supervised Recreation Time / Clean Up / Pick Up

2:30-3:30pm Supervised Recreation Time
3:30-5:00pm Homework / Craft
5:00-5:30pm Group Game
