Service Projects

One of LACS’s goals for its graduates is service. LACS therefore provides several opportunities to instill the value of service and charitable giving in our students. We achieve this by selecting two charities to support financially each year. Our goal is to not only have a local impact, but also a global impact on the lives of others.

LACS Supporting Two Special Ministries

At Los Altos Christian School (LACS), we proudly continue our tradition of supporting two impactful ministries each year through our chapel offerings. This initiative is a wonderful way to nurture core values of service and generosity in our students.

This year, we are thrilled to partner with two remarkable organizations:

  • Much Hope: A local outreach of Bridge Community Church, Much Hope serves our community’s homeless population by providing essential food and meeting their physical needs.
  • iThemba School: Located in Cape Town, South Africa, iThemba School is dedicated to delivering high-quality pre-primary education. Their mission includes ensuring balanced nutrition, health monitoring, and providing a safe, nurturing environment while sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Our students will have the opportunity to pray for these children by name in their classrooms and participate in various initiatives to learn more about their peers on the other side of the world.
