Lizette Hibbert

Assistant HOS

Lizette was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. She graduated from the University of Pretoria with a B.Ed. degree specializing in School Guidance and a B.Ed. degree specializing in Educational Psychology. Lizette holds both the UK and CA teaching credential, and ACSI teacher and elementary principal certification. She moved to London, UK after graduating from college. She worked in several elementary schools, teaching at a variety of grade levels during her time in London. She had the opportunity to teach in a resource unit with children with both physical and intellectual disabilities. God used this opportunity to demonstrate to her His deep love for all human beings, no matter their abilities, social status, or ethnicity.

Lizette moved to the Bay Area in 2008 when she started working as a fifth-grade teacher at LACS. She received training in many different areas of education after starting work at LACS, including Math Real and Orton-Gillingham. She completed the Wilson Introductory course, and she is currently busy with her Wilson Level 1 certification. She began working as the assistant head of schools at LACS in 2019.

Lizette enjoys working with students and adults in a supportive capacity so that they can become all that God has created them to be. She enjoys hiking, cycling, jogging, travelling, and visiting with friends during her free time.
