
Lizette Hibbert
Lizette was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. She earned a BA degree in Guidance Counseling and a B.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Pretoria. She holds teaching credentials from both the United Kingdom and California, as well as ACSI certifications as a teacher and elementary principal.
After completing her studies, Lizette moved to London, where she gained extensive experience teaching at various grade levels in elementary schools. During this time, she also served in a resource unit for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, an opportunity that profoundly influenced her understanding of God’s love for all people.
In 2008, Lizette relocated to the Bay Area and joined Los Altos Christian School (LACS) as a fifth-grade teacher. Over the years, she has undergone specialized training in several educational methodologies, including Math Real and Orton-Gillingham. She has completed the Wilson Level 1 certification. In 2019, she advanced to the position of Assistant Head of School at LACS.
Lizette is deeply committed to fostering the growth and development of both students and staff, guiding them to reach their God-given potential. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cycling, jogging, skiing, traveling, and spending quality time with friends.
