Enrichment Program for Homeschoolers

The Los Altos Christian School’s Enrichment Program for Homeschoolers provides support for homeschooled families with children in grades K-8. This is currently a non-accredited program.

The program includes:

  • Chapel attendance and other group activities and field trips.
  • Enrollment in co-curricular (enrichment) classes.
  • Participation in the LACS after-school sports program.
  • Access to the weekly school newsletter.
  • Parent/Student activities.
  • This program is parent-driven, not teacher-driven.

Program Fees

  • Non-refundable application fee per child (one time):
    • Due with the online application $100
  • Non-refundable (one-time) enrollment fee per child. Due upon acceptance:
    • K-8: $400
    • Includes record-keeping and access to standardized assessment
  • Activities Fees (annual): Access to grade-level field trips
    • K/1 $75
    • 2/3 $150
    • 4/5 $300
    • 6-8 $400
  • Core Curriculum (English/Language Arts Math, Bible, Science, or History)
    • Core- Curriculum Classes: Grades K-5 ……………………$2,750 (Only ONE subject allowed)
    • Core- Curriculum Classes: Grades 6-8 ……………………$3,300 (Only ONE subject allowed)
  • Co-Curriculars/Electives fee (per course/sport, per student, per year)
    • Grades K-5: $600
    • Grades 6-8: $400
    • Options include: STEAM Robotics Lab, Computer Lab, Coding & 3D Printing*, Music, Art, PE
  • Athletic fee (per course/sport, per student, per year)
    • Grades K-8: $300
    • Options include: Flag Football, Basketball, Volleyball

LACS has a non-discriminatory racial policy and admits students of all races to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities made available to all regularly enrolled students.

Payment Policies

  • Tuition must be paid in full. Continuing families may choose a payment plan.
  • A $25 late fee is applied when tuition is not received by the beginning of each semester.
  • All payments must be set up in FACTS via auto-pay.
  • A $25 service charge is applied for all returned payments.
  • Students are not permitted to continue in the LACS Homeschool program if their tuition or paperwork is more than 30 days delinquent unless prior arrangements are made.
  • If/when an enrolled LACS student is transferred to the home school program, LACS will honor the enrollment fee and tuition if already paid. They will not be collected twice. However, there will incur a
    $100 program change fee.
  • Per our tuition agreement upon enrollment, there are no refunds for application, enrollment, and first tuition installment fees. If there is a difference in fees, no refunds are given for overpayment.
