Vilma Rondez
4th Grade
Vilma is an experienced educator with over 15 years in the classroom, having taught every grade from kindergarten through eighth, as well as serving as a 1st-5th reading interventionist. She has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies and holds a teaching credential from Associated Christian Schools International (ACSI).
This is Vilma's 4th year at LACS, and she currently teaches the 4th grade. Previously, she taught the 4LAD (LSP) class. She is trained in various multi-sensory programs, including Educator Level 1 Orton-Gillingham; Wilson Reading & Language System; Making Math Real; Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics & Sight Words (SIPPS); and Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
Outside of teaching, Vilma enjoys spending time with her ever-growing family. She also serves, alongside her husband, as a board member and short-term missionary of a non-profit Christian organization that supports pastors and church ministries in the Philippines.
