Vanessa (Elsa) Gaxiola

Elsa Gaxiola holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Northwood University and completed her teaching credential program at California State University, Fresno. Since joining Los Altos Christian Schools in 2021, she has been teaching our 5th-grade students. Elsa has completed specialized training in the Wilson Reading System and Making Math Real and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Literacy. Her passion is helping students become confident readers, writers, and problem-solvers while fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Elsa’s relationship with the Lord is central to both her life and her teaching. Being part of the Los Altos Christian Schools community has deepened her faith and strengthened her love for Jesus. She considers it a privilege to share God’s truth, grace, and love with her students each day.

Originally from Southern California, Elsa is fluent in Spanish and treasures spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and is on a personal mission to visit all 50 states, using her experiences to bring history, geography, and real-world connections into her teaching. Above all, Elsa is grateful for the opportunity to partner with families in providing a Christ-centered education that supports both academic growth and spiritual development.
