Mrs. Wong was born and raised in Hawaii. She graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Hawaii. While on a student exchange at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Mrs. Wong got involved with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). Following her graduation from UH, she joined the staff of Cru and served for 13 years working with college students at UCLA, UCIrvine, Cal Poly Pomona, and the University of Hawaii. She helped lead short-term missions projects to the Philippines, New Zealand and Japan. In 2002, after leaving staff with Cru, Mrs. Wong, along with her husband and two children moved to the Bay Area, and her children started attending Los Altos Christian Schools. She began working as a full-time aide at LACS in 2006 and joined the middle school staff as a math teacher in 2011. Currently, Mrs. Wong teaches American Sign Language and Bible. She has completed the making Math Real Introductory course.

During her breaks, she has enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband and children. Mrs. Wong considers it a joy and privilege to work with youth, helping them grow academically, socially, and most of all spiritually. Her desire for each child is that they would grow as Jesus did, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52)
