Amanda Threet
Transitional Kindergarten
Amanda has been part of the LACS community since 2021 and currently teaches Transitional Kindergarten (TK). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media from the University of California, Riverside, and is certified through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). She has also completed training in the Wilson Reading System to support early literacy development.
Amanda is committed to guiding her students with care as they begin their educational journey. She is passionate about creating a warm, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children feel safe to explore, grow, and express themselves. She aims to create a Christ-centered classroom where young learners feel loved, supported, and encouraged to grow spiritually, academically, and socially. She believes early education lays the foundation for a lifelong love of learning, and she enjoys guiding her students through their first school experiences with patience and creativity.
Outside the classroom, Amanda enjoys photography, baking, hiking, walking her dog, and spending time with her family.
