Janice Austin

Mrs. Austin grew up wanting to become a teacher! She has taught for over 25 years, with experience teaching in elementary, middle school, and high school. She loves seeing the light in a student’s eyes when they’ve learned something new! She graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She has minors in both Bible and English and holds an ACSI credential. She has Slingerland training and has worked with children with learning challenges.

Mrs. Austin’s husband, Chuck, has been a Pastor for 35 years and is presently the Pastor of the Berryessa Valley Church. She has two grown children and one grandson. She grew up in Southern California, so Disneyland and the beach are two of her favorite places! She loves doing anything with her family, enjoys hanging out with friends, is excited about teaching in Kids’ Church and leading a women’s Bible study at church, and loves to read and travel.
