Amy Kleinberg is the Art Teacher at Los Altos Christian Schools. Amy leads her students’ in the exploration of art techniques, elements, and principles through meeting famous artists, with an art-around-the-world focus, traveling across the globe and through history. Amy strives to help students successfully respond to the world around them with more unique perspectives and use their God-given creativity. She assists her students beyond the classroom and beyond artistic experiences, as they gain confidence in how they can be creative and powerful visual communicators every day.
Amy graduated Cum Laude from Westmont College with a BA in Fine Arts with her All-level Art Education Certification. She has taught across the country, in California and Colorado and throughout Texas, including the Discovery Science Place and LeTourneau University. She received $20,000 in education grants and was honored to be Northeast Texas Young Audiences Middle School Art Teacher of the Year in 2018-19. Amy pursues art and travel opportunities whenever possible. Amy has shown her art in galleries and sold commission pieces. She is a busy wife and proud mother of a daughter at Seattle Pacific University and a son at UT Tyler.
