Jieun Chai

Jieun is an educational therapist who has worked in education for over 15 years. She has served at multiple private elementary schools in the Bay Area, first as a classroom teacher and later as a resource teacher. In 2020, she started a private practice helping children with reading difficulties. She holds a Level 1 certification in the Wilson Reading System and is pursuing a graduate degree in Special Education with a concentration in dyslexia.

Jieun grew up in Southern California but became a NorCal convert. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University. She and her husband have two children (one going to college this year) and a dog. When Jieun is not working with students, she loves watching Korean dramas, singing karaoke, and traveling.
