David Huang
David Huang was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States with his family as a middle school student. Around this time, he encountered Christ and perceived his calling to serve the next generation soon thereafter. As such, David obtained a BA and a MA in Child and Adolescent Development from San Jose State University. To further equip himself for ministry, David also graduated from Western Seminary with a MA in Ministry and Leadership.
David served as a kindergarten teacher before transitioning into a leadership role, which he has held for six years at a PS to 12 international schools. David is presently a member of River of Life Christian Church, where he has spent many years serving in the church’s children and youth ministry.
David dreams of a school where students find their passion, discover their talents, and grow into lifelong learners. As an educator and leader, David fosters a vibrant learning community by caring for the whole person, building relationships, promoting a growth mindset, and cultivating collaboration.
David Huang has been married to his wife, Chi, for two years. They enjoy traveling, reading, bike riding, and cooking together. They look forward to getting to know the community this upcoming year.
