Amy Kleinberg

Amy Kleinberg is the Art Teacher at Los Altos Christian Schools. She leads her students in the exploration of art techniques, elements, and principles with an art-around-the-world focus, meeting famous artists and traveling across the globe and through history. She assists her students beyond the classroom and artistic experiences as they gain confidence to be creative and powerful visual communicators every day.

Amy graduated cum laude from Westmont College with a BA in Fine Arts with her all-level Art Education Certification. She has taught across the country in California, Colorado, and throughout Texas, including the Discovery Science Place and LeTourneau University. She received $20,000 in education grants and was honored to be Northeast Texas Young Audiences Middle School Art Teacher of the Year in 2018-19. Amy pursues art and travel opportunities whenever possible, and has shown her art in galleries and sold commission pieces. She is a busy wife and proud mother of a daughter at Seattle Pacific University and a son at UT Tyler.
