Cyber Safety Seminar Presented by BCC

The purpose of this seminar is to provide insight into teens and technology from a law enforcement perspective and to help parents know how to teach their kids about how to use technology and social networking wisely, how to protect themselves from online predators, guard their personal information, and preserve their online reputation.
About the Speaker:  Officer Frank has been a local police officer for over 10 years and investigates complex cases including internet fraud, identity theft, abuse crimes against children and persons, embezzlement, elder abuse, and drug-related cases.  He is a current member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), and is an FBI-certified firearms instructor.  He received an instructor certification from the Sunnyvale Dept of Public Safety in conjunction with Yahoo in Cyber Bullying and digital Media Issues covering topics such as emerging issues of digital media, to include; cyber bullying, sexting, content publishing and social media sites.  As a member of the US military(Reserves), he has received additional training and experience to include human trafficking, counter-terrorism, narco-terrorism, risk and threat assessment. He is the President and Founder of a training and consulting company, which provides services to first responders, and conventional military units nationwide. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Management (MBA), and a BS in International Business. He is married and has 2 daughters ages 11 and 8.
