Opportunities for the 2011-2012 Academic Year: 

Extended Day Care Worker (EDC):

Work year would end June 7, 2012
Hours: 2:45 to 6:00 PM M, Tu, Th,F, 2:00 to 6:00 PM Wednesdays, minimum days noon to 6:00 PM
Salary: $9.50 -- $12.00 based on education and experience.

The right candidate for this job would have the following qualities:

* Organize and set up materials for activities, and help to maintain a clean, safe, neat and orderly program environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* CPR and First Aid Certified. (can help obtain)
* Model positive and supportive interaction with children, parents, and co-workers.
* Flexible, self- motivated and a team player.
* Dedicated and responsible work ethic.
* Use appropriate problem solving skills for student confrontations
* Understand Child guidance principles and practices.
