Our
campus has a computer laboratory containing some
of the latest computer technology currently
available.
All
teachers are encouraged to integrate the use of
technology into their classroom teaching
techniques as appropriate. Certain
classrooms have computers dedicated to student
use. Many classes are fully equipped with
AlphaSmart keyboards which students use to
prepare class assignments and improve
keyboarding skills.
The
faculty of LACS is encouraged to stay current
with technology and bringing to their students
new applications of technology to assist in the
classroom environment.

LACS' hardware
includes:
The computer lab
workstations (Pentium 4’s) are used by the
students. Each one has access to the
campus network and the Internet via a T1 access
connection.
The computers keep
our labs up-to-date using state-of-the-art
equipment. Scanners and printers are available
in the labs for student access. The teachers
teach using large-screen display monitors to
demonstrate computer skills to the classes. Our
T1 Internet connection allows the students to
find information quickly and efficiently.
To complement the
above equipment, VCS has acquired additional
vital peripherals to keep pace with the rapid
pace of technology. This includes:
